    "The Museum of the American Revolution is a non-profit, cultural organization dedicated to engaging the public in the history and significance of the American Revolution and its enduring legacy. The mission of the Museum is to inspire learning about the history of the American Revolution and the significance of the founding ideals of the Declaration of Independence for Americans and people around the world.
    The Museum is documenting, preserving, researching and preparing its distinguished collection of objects, artifacts, manuscripts, and printed works from the period of the American Revolution in preparation for display in the new Museum of the American Revolution. The Museum will be built just steps from Independence Hall in the historic area of Philadelphia.
